UPDATE: COVID-19 Response
Phillips Theological Seminary remains mindful of the COVID-19 pandemic and has made adjustments to its course schedule, events and daily operations at the Tulsa, Okla. campus. At this time, campus offices remain open on their regular schedules.
Phillips has been in touch with its students and staff about changes made in response to the viral outbreak. The seminary encourages all students, staff and visitors to attend to their own health needs/concerns and make choices that do not put them or others at risk.
If a member of the Phillips community or visitor has been in contact with someone who is symptomatic, or if the visitor, student or staff member has symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, they should refrain from being on campus.
The administration of Phillips Theological Seminary is receiving updates on the COVID-19 virus from the Tulsa Health Dept. The health department’s COVID-19 webpage contains helpful information on the virus.
The Phillips administration is aware the situation is likely to change and is monitoring it carefully. If the administration decides additional steps need to be taken, the information will be communicated to those affected by the decision. Public statements will also be released on the seminary’s online news page.
