A Reflection by Sr. Ellie Finlay

The Director of St. John’s Center for Spiritual Formation, Sr. Ellie Finlay, offers the reflection in chapel during this second week of Spring Concentrated Courses. Finlay is a solitary (hermit) nun in the Anglican tradition. She is an experienced spiritual director and retreat conductor. Her background includes traditional convent life and education in theology, philosophy, and spiritual direction. She has studied with mediation masters from several major religious traditions and now specializes in the theory and practice of meditation. Her reflection is based on Mark 10: 17-21
