The first president of the Phillips Graduate Seminary, the Rev. Dr. Roger Allan Sizemore, died March 17, 2020 after a life of service in higher education and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Sizemore served as president of PGS from 1988-90 after the Graduate Seminary of Philips University separated from the university in 1987. He served as Dean of the graduate seminary from 1984-87.
