President's Greeting

Welcome to Phillips Theological Seminary! I just completed my first year and I am more convinced than ever that Phillips is a special and unique place. It is a place where those who have experienced marginalization or hurt can find authentic belonging. It is a place where those who are curious and called about what is next can begin their journey.

The Phillips community has several opportunities for you to find your place of authentic belonging. It may be as part of a group staying in our newly opened Bedford House, a one-of-a-kind facility for students, denominational groups, church groups or church affiliate groups.

It may be by dipping your toe in the theological waters by taking or auditing a class.  It may be in one of our four main lectures that you can participate in virtually or in person. It may be connecting with the work of one of our Centers that impacts congregational and general communities. We look forward to journeying with you as you find your place of belonging.
