Supervised Year in Ministry Program

All students in the M.Div. and M.A.M.C. degree programs are required to enroll in the Supervised Year in Ministry Program (SYMP). Students will be asked to reflect critically on theological, social and personal issues as they relate to the practice of ministry in a specific context. While enrolled in SYMP students practice ministry for a minimum of 10 hours per week, reflecting with the assistance of a Mentor, On-site Reflectors, and classroom peers.

A full description of the program can be found in the Supervised Year in Ministry Program Handbook or by contacting the director, Dr. John L. Thomas, Jr. by email or by phone at (918) 270-6455.
