Phillips Theological Seminary is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation in the state of Oklahoma (IRS determination available upon request). The seminary is committed to responsible, ethical stewardship of the funds entrusted to us.

• An independent audit is conducted after the close of each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30).
• The seminary's 990 is available on request, or find it on-line by searching www.guidestar.org.
• We affirm two standard ethical codes for fundraising professionals:
  • The Donor Bill of Rights
  • The Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethics
• The stewardship program staff members belong of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and to the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
• We have ended each of the last eleven years with a balanced budget

 At the close of the 2009/10 fiscal year (June 30, 2010):

• The book value of seminary assets was $47.4 million.
• The total endowment (permanent and temporarily restricted) was market valued at nearly $30 million. The trustee-authorized endowment spending rate was 4.75%.
