Peluso-Verdend Prays for Students

PTS President Gary Peluso-Verdend prays for students as the Fall 2010 Semester draws to a close.

PRAYER FOR STUDENTS

God of All  Seasons:

Who or what can separate us from your love?

Can papers or tests, Turabian or the OMG moment when there is no more time to read and we must write?

Can computers or congregants’ complaints, Blackboard or unfinished assignments?

No, for in all these things the star pierces the darkness.

Reassure us once more that neither death nor life, neither powers earthly nor heavenly,

Not bad Christmas carols sung by pop artists who should not have tried,

Not busyness or overindulging,

Not presents bought or presents unfound,

Not haunting ghosts of Christmases past or anxious ghosts of What Might Be

Can separate us from your love made manifest in Christ Jesus.

Amen
