On Monday, Jan. 19, Phillips Theological Seminary will close in order to let students, staff and faculty march in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day parade in Tulsa, one of the largest in the country.

Dr. Gary Peluso-Verdend, the President of Phillips Theological Seminary, will be preaching at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The 11 a.m. service will be broadcast on Tulsa’s Channel 8.

JustHope, a non-profit founded by Phillips Theological Seminary alumna Leslie Penrose, will host its seventh annual Wine for Water fundraising event on at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Greenwood Cultural Center in Tulsa.
Phillips offers Christian graduate theological education in service of intelligent, just, and
compassionate religious and civic communities. We welcome students to a safe space for truth-seeking conversations about the Bible, Jesus, and faithful living. Courses are available on campus and online for certificate, diploma, MDiv, MAMC, and MTS programs, and on campus for the DMin program.
