Phillips Theological Seminary continues its tradition of opening its doors to all kinds of learners by offering courses for audit to the public. There are six courses offered at the seminary this spring that are open for auditors.

A new Master of Arts (Social Justice) degree is being offered at Phillips. Enrollment is currently open.
Feb  2015 23
Dr. Sharon Jacob joins Phillips community and will begin teaching Fall Semester 2015. Jacob is a native of India

Dr. Peter Mena joins Phillips community and will begin teaching Fall Semester 2015. Mena is the first Latina/o member of the faculty.

Dr. Nancy Pittman, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of Phillips Theological Seminary, will speak at Tyson Foods’ annual Chaplaincy Services Training Conference taking place Monday, Oct. 6 through Thursday, Oct. 9.

Dr. Gary Peluso-Verdend, the President of Phillips Theological Seminary, will be preaching at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The 11 a.m. service will be broadcast on Tulsa’s Channel 8.
Phillips Theological Seminary offers Christian graduate theological education
in service of intelligent, just, and compassionate religious and civic communities. We welcome
students to a safe space for truth-seeking conversations about the Bible, Jesus, and faithful living.
