Phillips Theological Seminary presents three public lectures by nationally respected Oklahoma-based scholars on how culture and religion intersect and affect each other. Each lecture includes time for questions and answers. The lectures are free and open to the public on the Phillips campus.

It is with sadness that Phillips Theological Seminary shares the news of the passing of Dennis E. Smith, Professor of New Testament Emeritus. Smith died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, in Galveston, Texas, of complications from cancer. He joined Phillips in 1986, and was the last faculty member who also taught in the Graduate Seminary of Phillips University. He was also the longest-serving faculty member of the seminary.
