New Book Published by Ellen Blue

Dr. Ellen Blue, PTS Director of Denominational Formation (United Methodist) and PTS Mouzon Biggs, Jr. Associate Professor of the History of Christianity and United Methodist Studies, has a book releasing this month from the University of Tennessee Press, St. Mark's and the Social Gospel: Methodist Women and Civil Rights in New Orleans, 1895-1965. It represents twelve years of work on the history of a settlement house in the French Quarter run by Methodist deaconesses.
