Welcome to the Phillips Theological Seminary Library!
We offer a wealth of information that will assist you as you pursue your graduate degrees in the variety of programs we have to offer. We have the largest graduate theological library in the region (extending from Dallas to Kansas City & St. Louis to Denver.)
The library is staffed during all hours of operations. Our primary responsibility is to serve as an interface between our students & their information needs.
Whether you’re looking for a book, ebook, journal, digital resource, or how to help format a research paper—you can never ask too many questions! We are here to help you.
The library not only offers you a multitude of resources for your graduate studies, it can offer a quiet place for contemplation, study, & preparing classwork.
We look forward to meeting you & working with you on your spiritual journey at Phillips Theological Seminary.

Doctor of Ministry (DMin) Useful Forms
Students should also fill out an ATLA “Research in Ministry Submission” form online. Be sure to paste your abstract in the space provided. (Again, students should not do this until the project report has been approved in final form.)
For additional questions related to the Doctor of Ministry Program, please contact Kathy McCallie.
Requests for purchase
The Library welcomes suggestions from the student community. All requests are evaluated based on the current Phillips library collections & availability of funds. Priority will be given to requests that support the mission of the seminary. Requests will be processed through normal library ordering procedures.
Please contact Sandy Shapoval for requests.
