Christianity in the United States in Norman, OK

PTS is offering a fall semester course at the United Ministry Center located in Norman. The course is Christianity in the United States and is being taught by  Dr. John Imbler of PTS. The course is offered on four weekends, beginning Sept. 12-13, with class sessions each month through December. Two Friday sessions will be free public lectures and include a light supper, as described in the brochure.

Public Lecture Series in Tulsa

Faith Matters at PTS is a free public lecture series the seminary's faculty is initiating at the Tulsa campus this fall.

 

The lectures are designed for lay leaders interested in central issues of Christian faith and practice. PTS faculty Joe Bessler, Anne Joh, Kay Northcutt, Dennis SmithSusanna Southard and William Tabbernee will discuss a variety of issues, ranging from contemporary discipleship to biblical archeology, from learning about God to exploring how political candidates use religion, from the importance of eating together to the story of Ruth.

 

The lectures are free, open to the public, and no registration is required. The lectures will be held each Monday night from September 15 through October 20, 7 - 8:45 p.m. at the seminary's Tabbernee Conference Center, immediately south of the seminary's main building (click here for directions).
