Interlibrary Loan

If materials are not available in our library, interlibrary loan (ILL) may be used by students, faculty, & staff to borrow books, materials, & articles from other libraries. The borrowing policies are those of the lending library.  Interlibrary loan requests may be renewed, depending on the lending institution's authorization.

Simply e-mail the library. Include in your request all relevant information including author, title, ISBN, article title, journal title, year, edition, etc.

Materials borrowed via ILL may be mailed to you but please allow sufficient time for us to receive and mail the items.

Users are also responsible for returning the books to the Phillips library.

Students who live out of town may wish to use their local public library to initiate ILL requests, as the books can be picked up locally. Check with your local public library for more information.

Non-Phillips students are asked to use the interlibrary loan services of the institution in which they are enrolled.
