How to Give to Bridges of Faith

What kind of future do you want for the church—a strong and vital future in which congregations help Christians live as intelligent, courageous, faithful, bridge-building, and compassionate servants of God? A future in which our children and grandchildren will be taught to build and cross bridges between themselves and others? If the church in the U.S.A. is to have this future, it will require well-educated ministerial leaders.

The overall campaign goal is to raise $10 million, to be matched by the Cadieux trust, for a total campaign of $20 million. In the quiet phase of the Bridges of Faith Campaign, we raised $7 million in gifts and pledges, including funds for deepening scholarship support, establishing new academic chairs, strengthening the library, and for endowing operations. Three donors then committed gifts from their estates totalling $1.5. In the public phase, before the market crashes of Fall 2008, donors committed slightly over $1.5 million more.

The campaign has been a great success...except for one category: the Fred B. Craddock Chair in Preaching.

The time for an endowment campaign is now. Will you take a step in faith with PTS to build a bridge into the future, for the sake of the church you want to see for yourself and your loved ones, for your generation and for succeeding generations? We ask that you prayerfully consider giving a gift, and giving at the most significant level you can.
