Phillips Theological Seminary completed in December 2014 the first set of courses in the Interreligious Understanding program, a new and engaging educational enrichment program for adult learners. These courses were taught by religious leaders and scholars in the state of Oklahoma who represent Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, and Native American traditions. The overarching goal has been to prepare individuals for life and work in increasingly multicultural and religiously diverse communities.
What's Coming Next?
This life-enrichment program, designed for adult learners of all educational backgrounds who are interested in exploring the religious diversity of our community, will be on hiatus for the Spring 2015 semester. Look for the new set of courses, in new formats and times, to be developed and presented for the Fall 2015 semester as Phillips continues to pursue its goal of vital interfaith conversations among all people in our community to advance the public good.
The course described in these pages were presented from Fall 2012 through Fall 2014. Look through these pages to get an idea of what the next set of courses will be like.
