The annual commencement services for the class of 2015-2016 graduates of Phillips Theological Seminary was held at First Christian Church, in Tulsa, on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Dr. Joe Bessler offers the faculty reflection at this graduation ceremony. Bessler is the Robert Travis Peake Professor of Theology and Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Assessment at Phillips.

Rev. Susanna Weslie Southard offers the reflection today, based on John 17: 20-23. Southard is the Chaplain, Instructor of Ministry Studies, and Director of Teaching with Technology at Phillips Theological Seminary.

The Rev. Trayce Stewart visited Phillips Theological Seminary today and was the featured guest speaker during Chapel service. Rev. Stewart is pastor at Second Chance Christian Church in Columbus, Ohio. Her reflection is based on Acts 1:8.

Nancy Claire Pittman, Phillips Theological Seminary Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs offers an introduction and recognition for Dr. Sharon Jacob, Assistant Professor of New Testament at Phillips, in honor of her first book, "Reading Mary Alongside Indian Surrogate Mothers." Dr. Sarah Morice Brubaker, Assistant Professor of Theology at Phillips, offers a reflection based on Mark 14: 1-11.

During the concentrated course weekend for "Caring in Depth: Death and Dying" Dr. Mindy McGarrah Sharp offers a reflection on Luke 21: 25-36. Sharp is the Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology and Ethics at Phillips.

The Rev. Dr. Kathy McCallie offers a reflection on Mark 10: 17-25 during a special weekly worship service held at the Tabbernee Conference Center. McCallie is the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program and an Assistant Professor of Ministerial Leadership and Ethics at Phillips.
