Campus Visits
The best way to discern whether or not a seminary is the right place for you to continue your studies is to visit the campus. We eagerly await an opportunity to host you for a visit to our campus. We want you to experience our passionate teachers, ecumenical dialogue, and genuine hospitality for yourself!
There are two times during the Spring semester when you are invited to join other prospective students for scheduled campus visit opportunities. The first is for a day-long campus visit on Tuesday, March 13, from 8:30 to 3:30. The other opportunity is an extended weekend retreat focused on discernment, as well as opportunity to visit the campus and learn more about PTS, scheduled for April 20-21, Friday evening and all day Saturday.
Campus visits are scheduled at others times for your convenience. We want to customize your visit to meet your needs. A typical visit includes opportunities to tour the campus, attend chapel, sit in on a class, meet current students, have lunch with the seminary community, and visit with staff, faculty, and students about degree programs, financial aid, and life at PTS.
We recommend scheduling your visit for a Tuesday or Thursday when classes on the regular schedule are in session. For the Spring semester, consider a time between January 30 and May 3. There are no classes during Holy Week, April 2-9, so while we may be able to visit with you during that time, it is not ideal for getting the full feel of the community.
Though an on-campus is visit is strongly recommended for everyone who plans to attend PTS, we also offer a virtual campus visit using the Blackboard online course delivery system to enable all prospective students an opportunity to see how online classes work and to discuss issues related to discernment about vocation and call to ministry. The virtual campus is available at anytime. You can RSVP to Linda Ford via email. You will need to RSVP in order to receive log-in information and instructions about how to access the virtual campus visit.
Please contact Linda Ford, Director of Recruitment, at (918) 270-6463 or via email to make arrangements to visit at a time that fits with your schedule, or visit our Contact Admissions web page to book an appointment online.
