Additional Resources

As you make plans to pursue theological education, be sure to check with your denomination's local, regional, and national offices to see what sources may be available to you.  Additionally, let your church know of your plans.  Many churches consider it part of their mission to help support members who go to seminary.  You may also want to speak to former students in your area and/or church or denomination to see what sources they found to help them pay for seminary.

Additional funding sources can be found in a number of places.  To begin your search for scholarships and other aid, we recommend that you visit the website for The Fund For Theological Education.  On their site, you will find the Fund Finder search engine which will help you locate potential sources through your denomination and other organizations.

Some excellent resources for helping you plan the financing of your theological education can be found at The Center for the Study of Theological Education at Auburn Seminary.
