Phillips Honored by American Theological Library Association

The library at Phillips Theological Seminary recently won a contest for its creative activities during the American Theological Library Association's Theological Library Month.

The Phillips library created a series of bookmarks featuring its librarians, including their specialties and interests. The library also offered free snacks and beverages during the monthlong celebration.

The library also encouraged its users to participate in book spine poetry and gave away a copy of the Rev. Dr. Ellen Blue's new book,  In Case of Katrina

"October kicked off the first event in our year-long celebration of theological libraries and librarians around the theme 'Creative Collaboration,'" according to ATLA. "The first event was Theological Libraries Month (TLM) and we were delighted to see institutions across the world promoting their libraries and the profession on Twitter with #TLM2017 and #CreativeCollab."
