A Quest for More

We ask for blessings on this journey, as we seek to know God more and more.

A QUEST FOR MORE

            Holy Mystery, bless now this journey that we are making—

                        through deserts of “too much to do” with few oases of respite;

                                    on roads cluttered with the small rocks of ordinary care and bounding boulders of unpleasant surprise.

            Bless our quest for more of you—more of your wisdom, more of your compassion, more of your righteousness.

                        And bless our songs of praise, even when they are sung in foreign lands and tongues;

                                      even when they are offered besides strange rivers with unknown companions.

            Holy Mystery, bless now this journey that we are making.

                         In the name of Jesus. Amen.
